Where do you live most of the year?
Melbourne
What do you look for in a restaurant when you walk in?
How the manager treats the staff, general FOH/BOH vibe and unity.
What is your final meal?
When we were semi homeless and living in a garage in grade 10 my mum used to make these tacos with sour cream and salsa for my birthday, so probably that
3 guests for dinner, dead or alive?
The only time I ever paid attention in class was when we learnt about Julius Caesar so probably him, Alex Pereira and this is going to sound SOOOOO CORNY but Marcus Aurelius (cue the simultaneous sigh of everyone reading this hahahah)
Noey’s Taste Maker Guide
Breakfast: Gordon St Bakery, Melbourne
Order: Almond Croissant / Cheese stick. I know I always harp on about Gordon St Bakery but that almond croissant was a moment the first time I had it.
Coffee: I don't drink coffee lol, I have this nootropic energy drink every morning called shine and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in Australia that drinks it
Lunch: Kolonaki Athenian Street Food, Melbourne
Order: Mannnnnnn lunch is a hard one but probably Kolonaki, greek spot, amaaaaaazing souvlaki and that particular item i could eat everyday, I just loooove greek food.
Special dinner: ALT PASTA BAR, Melbourne
Order: I mean, I’m kinda bias because I helped open the place but the chefs that work there are so talented and I've seen the work they put in day in and day out - shout out bonggyo.
They have a seasonal menu, but you wont go wrong with any pastas on the menu.
Casual dinner: Gangnam Pocha, Melbourne
Order: It’s my safe Uber Eats meal, cheap and never wavers in quality, you know what you are getting. There was a period where I was eating it like 4-5 times a week, rip my bank account Uber Eats service fees. I always get the premium box, you get fried chicken, salad, kimchi, and two mains to pick from, I get pork bulgogi and salmon AND it comes with rice and its all only like 21 bucks or something.
Special shoutouts
DesiNental - Indian fried chicken bro you cannot go wrong
College Dropout Burgers, Ivanhoe - Best burger in Melbourne I've had so far
Agathé Pâtisserie, Melbourne - Another amazing bakery
Piccolo Panini Bar, Melbourne - Dope service, dope dudes, dope sandwiches
